Delete your WellRep account

You can delete your WellRep account and all of its data yourself, at any time, straight from the app. If you no longer have the app, we can do it for you.

Delete it in the app

1. Open WellRep and go to the Settings tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm by tapping Delete account again.

If you signed in with Apple, your iPhone asks you to confirm with your Apple Account once more. That lets us disconnect WellRep from your Apple sign-in as well. Cancelling it cancels the deletion, and nothing is removed.

What gets deleted

As soon as you confirm, we permanently delete:

• your account, including your name, email address and sign-in details;
• all your habits and every amount you have logged;
• your progress markers, such as your best score;
• any feedback you sent from the app, as stored in our database.

The app also disconnects your Apple or Google sign-in from WellRep, signs you out and cancels your daily reminder. You can then remove the app from your phone and Apple Watch.

What we keep, and for how long

• Backups. Our database backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so your deleted data disappears from them within 30 days. They are only used to recover from a disaster.
• Feedback emails. Feedback you sent from the app was also emailed to our team inbox, with your email address, and so were any emails you sent us directly. These are not removed automatically. Email privacy@wellrep.app and we will delete them.
• Crash reports. These are not linked to your account or identity, and expire automatically.

No access to the app?

Email privacy@wellrep.app from the email address linked to your WellRep account, with the subject "Delete my WellRep account". If you used Apple's Hide My Email, include the relay address, which you can find on your iPhone under Settings, your name, Sign-In & Security, Sign in with Apple, then WellRep.

We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We will then delete the account and all the data listed above, including our feedback emails, within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

Want to keep your account but remove some data?

Deleting a habit in the Habits tab also deletes everything you have logged for it, while keeping the rest of your account. For anything else, email privacy@wellrep.app.

Disconnecting Apple or Google yourself

Deleting your account in the app already does this. If you asked us by email, or just want to check, you can also stop WellRep using your sign-in:

• Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, Sign in with Apple, WellRep, and tap Stop Using Apple Account.
• Google: open your Google Account's third-party connections, choose WellRep and remove its access.

Disconnecting alone does not delete your WellRep data, so delete your account as well. For more about how we handle data, read our privacy policy.
